Berger Top Super Primer Plus forms a flexible protective film that reduces the movement of moisture through the substrate, helping decorative coatings maintain their colour and finish for longer.
This added protection contributes to improved paint performance while supporting a smoother and more consistent appearance.
Suitable for Multiple Substrates
Berger Top Super Primer Plus is recommended for a wide variety of interior construction materials, including:

Simple Application for Professional Results
Before application, ensure the surface is dry, clean, and free from dust, oil, grease, and loose particles. Berger Top Super Primer Plus should be diluted with clean water in a 1:1 ratio for normal brush application, although dilution may vary depending on the absorbency of the substrate.
For optimum sealing performance, two coats are recommended. On previously painted surfaces, remove all loose or damaged material before priming. Where a perfectly smooth finish is required, Berger Wall Putty may be applied after the primer has dried.
Quick Drying Performance
Berger Top Super Primer Plus dries within approximately one hour under normal weather conditions. Additional coats or finishing paints can generally be applied after 2 to 3 hours, helping reduce project completion time.
Coverage and Packaging
The primer provides an approximate coverage of 12–14 square metres per litre per coat, depending on the texture and absorbency of the surface.
